Customer Competence Centres

We operate 24/7 Customer Competence Centres staffed by seasoned professionals and we have the expertise, infrastructure and experience to add true value to your shipping business.

Our Customer Competence Centres’ functions include:

• Providing competitive Pro-forma Disbursement Accounts (PDA) for the principal
• Processing of all incoming appointments and nominations on behalf of the principal
• Providing the principal with timely port information, including port cost estimates, terminal & port restrictions, government regulations, etc.
• Planning and organising appointments execution to avoid errors and identify potential bottlenecks in operations
• Monitoring port call finances and agency performance to ensure the principal is receiving near-to-real-time port information
• Ensuring correct communications are sent to the principal and ensuring all relevant data is included in the reports
• Finding ways to achieve port cost savings through negotiations of vendor discounts on behalf of the principal
• Regularly reviewing port cost estimates to ensure their accuracy
• Providing up-to-date reports, which may affect shipping interests
• Monitoring  and reporting agency and port KPIs
• Ensuring that principal’s instructions are followed closely by agency staff
• Checking Final Disbursement Accounts (FDA) to ensure they are sent in a timely manner and accurately reflect true port costs
