The Roaring 90s
From shipping agency to integrated logistics
1990
The Beginning of Unimasters Logistics
Unimasters Logistics was established as the first Bulgarian liner shipping agency, representing the Black Sea Shipping Company (BLASCO) from Odessa.
1993
Bulgaria’s First IATA Cargo Agent. SeaLand Liner Agency
Unipartner, later renamed Unimasters Air, was established as Bulgaria’s first IATA Cargo Agent. Unimasters also became a member of FIATA and National Freight Forwarding Association (NSBS). Unimasters is appointed as liner agent of SeaLand Services Inc, USA.
1994
Entering the NVOCC Ocean Segment. Becoming the APMoller/Maersk Liner Agent. Growing Tramp & Tank Shipping Agency
Unitainer is established as a global NVOCC. Foundation of Barwil Unimasters Ltd – a 50:50 joint venture company between Wilhelm Wilhelmsen A/S, Norway, and Unimasters Logistics for tramp and tank shipping agency.
1997
Official opening of Unimasters Logistics headquarters in Varna with state-of-the-art communication and computing facilities. Unimasters is appointed as P&O Nedlloyd liner agent for Bulgaria.

2003
Expanding into the Region. Joining CargoLine road groupage system in Germany as International Partner
Unimasters began its regional expansion with the establishment of subsidiaries in Bucharest and Constanța, Romania.
2004
Building Logistics Infrastructure
Eurogate Logistics Park is established near Sofia Airport, providing integrated 3PL and 4PL services.
2005
Seabridge Agencies Ltd was founded. Seabridge became the Yang Ming Liner Agent for Bulgaria.
2008
Expanding Our Regional Presence
The company continued its regional expansion with the establishment of a subsidiary in Budapest, Hungary.

Digital Transformation of Operations
Unimasters introduced integrated cloud solutions for managing, planning and controlling transport and logistics operations, increasing transparency, operational efficiency and end-to-end visibility.
2012
Building Logistics Infrastructure
Unimasters Logistics SCS Ltd became a partner in Online Systemlogistik GmbH road groupage system for Bulgaria and Romania.
2014
The First Step Towards Digital Self-Service
Unimasters launched its first unified customer self-service portal MyUnimasters, providing access to shipment tracking, orders and documentation.
2017–2019
Moving Towards a Digital Logistics Model
The company took a major step toward a digital logistics model by introducing a new customer care centre. In 2019 the digital freight forwarder Ship-e-motion was launched with the advanced Freightools platform for multimodal transport and a self-service customer portal.
